>>”>Jerusalem, 1 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) confirmed that Captain Dr. Ori Yosef Silvester, 30 years old, from Tel Aviv, physician of the Shaked Battalion in the Givati Infantry Brigade, was killed in combat in southern Lebanon.
In the incident in which Captain (Dr.) Sylvester was killed, two IDF officers and a fighter were seriously wounded, and one soldier was moderately wounded.
In addition, in the incident two other officers and one soldier were lightly wounded.
The fighters were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital, and their families were updated.
