Jerusalem, 25 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Wolfson Medical Center in Tel Aviv inaugurated a new protected room (reinforced to serve as a bomb shelter during missile/rocket attacks) for the activities of its in vitro fertilization (IVF) unit in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines requiring protection of storage containers containing embryos and eggs.
The move, said the hospital, will allow the unit to continue operating even during emergency periods, while maintaining maximum safety of the embryos and stored samples.
