Millions Allocated to Promote Eilat Tourism

Israel's Ministry of Tourism earmarks 38.5 million shekels for Eilat and the Eilot region to enhance infrastructure and attract international visitors.

Jerusalem, 30 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Ministry of Tourism will promote investments in the amount of 38.5 million ($12.9 million) as part of the new five-year plan for Eilat and the Eilot region. The investment will include developing and upgrading public tourism infrastructure, encouraging international tourism, and continuing to promote the establishment of an international conference center in the city.

In addition, 10 million Shekels will be allocated from 2026 to 2028 to encourage marketing and attract international tourism. The budget will be used to support marketing and advertising activities by airlines and tourism wholesalers, who will advertise packages that include flights and accommodation in the city, as well as to encourage marketing activities to drive tourism Traffic to the Eilot region. Of the budget, 9 million Shekels will be Allocated to the city of Eilat and 1 million NIS to the Eilot region.
