Jerusalem, 2 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A huge urban renewal plan in the Netivot tender promoted by the Israel Land Authority and the municipality – has been approved for deposit in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Netivot is located west of Be’er Sheva.
The “Renewal of the City Center of Netivot” (Old City, Eastern Entrance) plan includes approximately 7,500 Housing Units in towers of up to 30 stories, alongside construction of 5-10 stories in 12 evacuation and reconstruction complexes in the “Brit Kehona” neighborhood of the city, and transforming the industrial area along Bale’el Melacha Street into an urban center that combines residences, employment, covering an area of approximately 460,000 square meters, and commerce, approximately 125,000 square meters.
