Jerusalem, 24 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Drive Group and Innoviz Technologies Ltd. have signed a strategic collaboration to advance AI-powered sensing systems for security and intelligent transportation. The partnership between the two Israeli businesses will integrate Innoviz’s light detection and ranging (LiDAR) — a laser-based technology that generates precise 3D environmental mapping — into Drive Group’s Barak LightGuard system.

The companies aim to support applications including border security, critical infrastructure protection, and drone detection, with a projected $20 million in sales by the end of 2027. The system combines LiDAR sensors, video cameras, and artificial intelligence software to detect and classify objects at long range.
