Jerusalem, 25 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) that, during what it described as a routine flight by the President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog in a military helicopter earlier today (Thursday), a bird strike forced the helicopter to make an emergency landing at an air force base in central Israel.
The helicopter landed safely and there were no injuries and no damage.
As part of routine procedure, the flight crew was transferred to another helicopter and continued its flight.
