Hundreds of new immigrants and returning residents from Tel Aviv and the surrounding area participated in a rights fulfillment conference held at the Enav Center in the city. The conference was initiated by the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Absorption Department of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, and was held in cooperation with many government ministries and municipal bodies: the National Insurance Institute, the Employment Service, the Ministry of Transport (Licensing Department), the Tax Authority, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice (Legal Aid), the Authority for the Absorption of Olim, the Municipal Center for Rights Fulfillment, the Municipal Property Tax Department, various departments in the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, and more.
The conference is intended for immigrants who arrived in Israel during the last five years and returning residents in the last two years. The goal of the conference is to enable immigrants to receive necessary information and important services in practice, in a concentrated manner in one place, without the need for bureaucratic entanglement, and in an immediate and efficient manner. This includes essential services such as: issuing ID cards and passports, rental assistance, maximizing entitlements from the National Insurance, employment bureau services, and more.
Dali Eli, Director of the Tel Aviv and Central District at the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration: “This is a unique and important event, and its purpose is to bring together services for immigrants under one roof, not only in terms of information accessibility but also in terms of providing practical assistance with all their needs. New immigrants face a lot of bureaucracy, unfamiliar information, and scattered service points, which is why holding an event of this kind is important. We welcome our partners from the government ministries and the Tel Aviv Municipality who have joined this initiative.”
