IDF Chief of Staff Zamir praises division commanders and soldiers for achievements, readiness, and sacrifice in ongoing combat operations.

The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, held a discussion today (Wednesday) with all the division commanders.

As part of the discussion, the Chief of Staff held an operational situation assessment with the commanders and addressed the operational challenges in all sectors, the forces’ readiness, and the continuation of combat in the various sectors.

“You are a unique generation of division commanders in the history of the IDF and the State of Israel,” said the Chief of Staff, “Your actions in the last two and a half years will still be told in history books. The IDF’s capability, the preservation of its values, and its operational achievements are in your hands.”

“In all combat sectors along the borders, we are prepared and established in forward defense areas, thwarting threats and shaping reality with initiative, perseverance, and determination. The IDF’s achievements are due to your unprecedented combat and sacrifice, commanders, and the soldiers, both regular and reserve.”

“At this moment, the IDF is on high alert and prepared for any development,” the Chief of Staff added. “Alongside the intensive and ongoing combat, we must maintain a high level of values, professionalism, and operational discipline. These are the conditions for the IDF’s combat capability and cohesion.”

“In every arena, we are removing threats and acting first and foremost to deepen the damage to the enemy and to maintain the security of our civilians and soldiers. As Chief of Staff, I see all arenas before me – we have systematically, powerfully, and with a structured plan, struck and weakened Iran and the entire axis.”

“We will continue to fight as required in nearby and distant arenas,” the Chief of Staff emphasized, “In order to meet all missions and reduce the incomprehensible burden on reservists, we need to broaden the circle of those serving. This is a fundamental and critical issue for the IDF’s operational functioning.”

“In this context, you, the division commanders, are doing an outstanding job, not only in the results on the ground, but primarily in the ability to lead people, nurture them, and most importantly, to win.”
