The deceased, Obancho Dinko, was evacuated from the scene in critical condition and later pronounced dead. Many forces were dispatched to the scene, and after an assessment conducted by the Commander of the Northern District, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu, at the scene of the incident, it was determined that the case would be transferred to the investigation of the Central Unit (YAMAM) of the Emekim District. With the opening of the investigation, YAMAM investigators carried out dozens of rapid investigative actions, and within a few hours, officers of the Northern District succeeded in arresting the suspect (Migdal HaEmek, 38) and seizing the vehicle, which turned out to be a stolen vehicle on which license plates stolen from an identical vehicle were installed. This morning, upon completion of the investigation phase, the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office will file an indictment against the suspect in the Nazareth-Ilit District Court.
