Shortly ago, as part of Air Force assistance to ground forces in southern Lebanon, a failed launch attempt of a surface-to-air missile was carried out towards an aircraft. There was no damage and no casualties to our forces. Additionally, shortly ago, the Air Force successfully intercepted an aerial target before it crossed into Israeli territory. No alerts were activated according to policy. The Air Force continues to assist ground forces in the area with offense and defense at all times. In several additional incidents earlier today (Tuesday), the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched several explosive drones and an anti-tank missile towards an area where IDF forces are operating, and several explosive devices were detonated near forces in southern Lebanon, with no casualties.
