Dozens of weapons of various types were stored in the warehouse that was attacked, including more than 20 mortar bombs, launchers, explosives, Kalashnikov rifles, and additional combat equipment. The rocket launching shaft and the weapons were intended to harm IDF forces operating in the Yellow Line area and Israeli civilians, and were destroyed in order to remove the threat. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
