IDF intelligence confirms: Hezbollah fired at UNIFIL personnel in southern Lebanon during the ceasefire. Following an operational and intelligence investigation by the IDF, it can be confirmed that yesterday (Saturday), as part of a UNIFIL force operation to evacuate casualties in the area of Ghandouriya in southern Lebanon, a terrorist cell from the Hezbollah terrorist organization opened fire at them. As a result of the shooting, one UNIFIL member was killed and three additional UNIFIL members were wounded, two of them seriously. The Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to exploit the ceasefire to advance terrorist activities, endangering and harming civilians and international organizations in Lebanon.
