Following the completion of an initial investigation into documentation circulated earlier today of an IDF soldier assaulting a Christian sergeant,
IDF investigates soldier assault on Christian sergeant; command channels handling case, will assist village in returning statue.
The incident is being investigated by the Northern Command and is currently being handled through command channels. Steps will be taken against those involved based on the findings. In parallel, the command will act to assist the village community in returning the statue to its place. The IDF is working to address the terrorist infrastructure established by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and has no intention of harming civilian infrastructure, including religious structures or symbols.
