Jerusalem, 5 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel has a new incentive plan to strengthen medical services in the Tekuma (Gaza area) region and there is up to a 600,000 Shekels ($191,000) recruitment grant for new specialist doctors to work in there and a total budget of 10 million Shekels ($3.19 millions) for the project.

he Salary and Labor Agreements Division at the Ministry of Finance, the Tekuma Directorate, and the Ministry of Health, in consultation with the health funds, are publishing a unique incentive outline for specialist doctors who will work in the community in the region.
