Israeli Tumor-Freezing Technology Gains Ground in Brazil
IceCure Medical's tumor-freezing ProSense technology is gaining commercial traction in Brazil for breast, lung, kidney, and musculoskeletal tumors.
Jerusalem, 7 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli medical technology company IceCure Medical, which specializes in cryoablation systems that destroy tumors by freezing them, said Monday that commercial adoption of its ProSense system is expanding in Brazil following recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance for use in Early-stage, low-risk breast cancer.
ProSense is approved by Brazil’s health regulator and is already being used commercially to treat breast, lung and kidney cancers, as well as musculoskeletal tumors. IceCure also cited ongoing independent breast cancer studies in Brazil and France.
