Jerusalem, 26 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) reported that, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and Israel’s commitments, operations at the Rafah Crossing into Gaza are ongoing.

Today, Thursday, about 50 patients traveling for medical treatment and their escorts exited through the Rafah Crossing, and about 50 Gazans entered Gaza.

As of its opening in February, approximately 950 people exited through the crossing, and approximately 950 people entered Gaza.

Gazans passing through the crossing is contingent upon the submission of approved passenger lists by the Egyptian authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO) and the crossing’s capacity.

Israel will continue working closely with its partners to facilitate the entry and exit of Gazans through the Rafah Crossing, in line with the agreed framework.
