New Portal to Ease Establishing Solar Power Systems
Israel's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure launched the "Renewable" portal, a new digital platform to streamline and simplify the process of establishing.
Jerusalem, 6 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure launched the “Renewable” portal – a new digital platform designed to make the process of establishing a solar energy based system “clear, organized and accessible.” The portal, for the first time, centralizes in one place all the information required to establish a solar system, and presents each user with a personalized path according to the characteristics of their facility.
Until now, those who wanted to install a solar system were required to deal with a variety of bodies, websites, requirements, documents and contacts, which were not always presented in a uniform and clear manner. The “Renewable” portal changes the starting point: instead of the citizen being required to learn the regulation and the process on their own, the system presents the entire path to establishing the facility – step by step, in a clear, simple and personalized manner – from the decision to implementation.
