Zion Oil & Gas has resumed drilling operations at its Megiddo-Jezreel #2 well in Israel's Jezreel Valley, beginning the sidetrack phase of its exploration.
Jerusalem, 11 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Zion Oil & Gas, Inc. has begun field operations for the sidetrack phase of its Megiddo-Jezreel #2 well in Israel’s Jezreel Valley. The firm said it has re-entered the well and is drilling out a temporary plug, with plans to condition the wellbore before proceeding with horizontal sidetrack drilling. Zion Oil & Gas continues exploration under its Megiddo Valleys License 434, covering about 75,000 acres.
