Mixed Trends in Appliance Imports March 2026
In March 2026, Israel's appliance imports saw mixed results, with refrigerators and dryers declining, while washing machines and dishwashers surged.
Jerusalem, 16 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Tax Authority reported that in March 2026, compared to March 2025, there was a mixed trend in imports of white goods (major appliances).
Imports of refrigerators and clothes dryers decreased by 20.8% and 6.7% respectively. Imports of washing machines and dishwashers, on the other hand, increased by 12.4% and 56.6% respectively.
Since the beginning of the year, imports of refrigerators and dryers have decreased by 5.6% and 59.2% respectively. Imports of washing machines and dishwashers have increased by 19.0% and 4.3% respectively.
Television imports decreased by 16.1% in March 2026 compared to the same month last year. Cumulatively, in January – March 2026, there was an increase of 7.4% compared to January – March 2025.
