Israel's trade deficit reached $3.2 billion in January 2026, with exports at $5.2 billion and imports at $8.3 billion, according to new data.

Jerusalem, 15 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — In January 2026, Israel’s trade deficit in goods amounted to 9.9 billion Shekels ($3.2 billion). This is according to the data released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.

Exports totaled 16.1 billion Shekels ($5.2 billion).

Imports totaled 25.9 billion Shekels ($8.3 billion).

According to trend data November 2025 – January 2026

Exports of high-tech mixed industries increased by 15.9%.

Imports of investment goods (excluding ships and aircraft) increased by 26.4%.
