Consumer Confidence Index Down in February 2026

Israel's consumer confidence index fell to -17% in February 2026, down from -16% in January, as reported by the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Jerusalem, 12 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that in February 2026 the consumer confidence index stood at -17%, down from -16% in January.

There was no significant change in the four balance sheets that make up the index.

The relative consumer confidence index stood at 88.

The consumer confidence index ranges from minus 100 to plus 100. The closer the index value is to the upper limit, the greater optimism among individuals, and the closer the index value is to the lower limit, the greater pessimism.
