Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar thanked Argentina's President Javier Milei for his leadership and values, as the nations sign an agreement to fight.
Jerusalem, 19 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar spoke at an event on Monday attended by Prime Minister Netanyahu and the visiting Argentine President > 🇮🇱🇦🇷”>Javier Milei at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.
Saar opened his remarks by thanking President Milei for “your leadership and the fresh spirit that you have brought not only to your country, but also to the struggle of those who believe in the values of the free world around the world and in Latin America.”
Sa’ar spoke about how the two countries are signing an agreement to fight terrorism, and said the “time has come to say that Argentina, under your leadership, is introducing a moral dimension to foreign policy. And this is reflected in the declaration of the Quds Force and the Revolutionary Guards as terrorist organizations. And it is clear that we need to cooperate.”
