During the trip, Sa’ar visited the Fiji Armed Forces Headquarters together with the Chief of Staff of Fiji, Major General Jonah Kaluniwai, and laid a wreath at the Fiji National Memorial in memory of the soldiers who fell in the Fiji wars.
Sa’ar also held meetings with Lionel Enigma, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Justice of Nauru, who came to Fiji especially for the embassy opening, and with Baron Wanga, Secretary-General of the Pacific Islands Organization.
