Volunteers from the Etzion-Yehuda Rescue Unit of the Judea and Samaria District, with the assistance of a police aerial unit helicopter, Border Police fighters, and fire and rescue forces, are currently operating to rescue a hiker (58, Rosh Ha’ayin) who was injured after falling during a horseback ride deep in the terrain near the settlement of Mevo Horon. Medical forces provided treatment to the hiker, and due to the nature and terrain, the hiker is now being rescued by the police helicopter.
