The scene investigation indicates suspicion that the background to the incident is criminal, and in this context, a suspect (31, Eilat) involved in the murder was arrested and transferred for investigation. The Commander of the Jerusalem District, Superintendent Avshalom Peled, arrived at the scene and held a situation assessment with the district command, at the end of which he instructed on the continuation of investigation activities and assigned it to the Central Unit in the Jerusalem District.
