Two IDF soldiers, serving in the Air Force, were arrested for committing security offenses for Iranian intelligence elements as part of a joint operation by Central District police officers.

According to the indictment, for several months, the two soldiers were in contact with Iranian intelligence elements and, under their direction, carried out a variety of missions for financial gain. One of the soldiers even transferred materials from his military training concerning fighter jet systems, documentation of facilities and areas on a military base, to an Iranian foreign agent.
