The double murder in the Golan Heights has been solved – an indictment will be filed against a liquidation cell of a criminal organization. About two months ago, a report was received of a shooting incident targeting a vehicle in the town of Buq’ata in the Golan Heights.

During the covert phase of the investigation, investigators discovered that a hit squad from a criminal organization in the North had organized in advance to carry out the murder. Following the covert investigation, several suspects involved in the murder were arrested, and several vehicles were seized, including the vehicle used to carry out the murder, which was seized in Kiryat Shmona. The main suspect in the murder remains at large, and YAMAS detectives conducted intensive operations to arrest him. On 05/07/26, during the night, while attempting to locate one of the main suspects, YAMAS detectives operated in the town of Yarka. During the operation, a masked suspect was identified exiting a business after he had shot an employee, who was seriously injured as a result. The detectives engaged and arrested the shooter while he was armed with a pistol. Upon removing the mask, they realized it was the same suspect in the double murder in the Golan Heights they had been searching for. This morning, the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office will file serious indictments against the three defendants in the double murder (Sajur, 43, Sami’a, 28, and Kiryat Shmona, 19) and against the 19-year-old suspect also for the attempted murder in Yarka.
