Police probe into PM’s ex-aide’s alleged witness harassment ends
Police probe into ex-PM's aide Hani Blayweiss for witness harassment ends; case sent to Attorney's Office.
The National Fraud Investigation Unit (LAHAV 433) has concluded an investigation that was opened following the broadcast of a journalistic report concerning the documented alleged activities of Hani Blayweiss, may she rest in peace. She was the Director of the Prime Minister’s Bureau. It was alleged that she, along with others and on their behalf, led activities of witness harassment, obstruction of justice, and invasion of privacy against witnesses and public officials involved in an ongoing trial against the Prime Minister. The investigation was supervised by the Central District Attorney’s Office, and during its course, numerous investigative actions were carried out in Israel and abroad. Upon completion of the investigation, the case was transferred to the Attorney’s Office for review and decision.
