Police officers from the Ar’arat Police Station and Border Police fighters in the South arrested four suspects involved in a shooting and violence incident in the town of Ar’arat an-Naqab.

The incident is against the backdrop of a criminal dispute.
A report was received about a shooting incident in Neighborhood 2 in Ar’arat an-Naqab. As a result of the incident, two people were lightly injured and evacuated for medical treatment. Upon receiving the report, officers from the Ar’arat station and Border Police fighters from the South were dispatched to the scene, who engaged and acted quickly to restore order. The forces used crowd dispersal measures and even fired into the air, in order to prevent escalation, remove threats, and stop the risk posed to the residents and the public in the area. During the operation, four suspects were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the shooting and violence incident, which is suspected to have occurred against the backdrop of a criminal dispute between families in the locality.
