During a search conducted in neighborhood 26 of the city, with the assistance of the K-9 unit of the Southern Command, forces located a pistol, magazines, and 5.56 caliber ammunition. The occupant of the premises was arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Rahat station. In an additional search conducted in neighborhood 18 of the city, forces located a suitcase containing over 5 million NIS in cash, which is suspected to be the proceeds of money laundering offenses and tax offenses. Two suspects were detained for investigation by the Economic Enforcement Unit of Lahav 433 in the Southern District.
