In a targeted operation against offenses of employing, transporting, and harboring illegal residents, Central District police officers arrested 19 suspects from Judea and Samaria, and five business owners from the Shfela and Sharon regions.

During the operation, police officers arrested 19 illegal residents, three employers, and two transporters, who were transferred for investigation at the Kfar Saba and Rishon LeZion stations. At the end of their investigation, the detention of some of the suspects was extended, and indictments were filed against some of the employers. These are serious offenses that could constitute a platform for hostile terrorist activity. Therefore, in parallel with the criminal proceedings, officers from the Central District closed two restaurants in Rishon LeZion and Hod Hasharon for 30 days by administrative orders, after officers discovered that illegal residents were employed there.
