Crime

For example, last July, a resident of Arad in the south arrived at the Meitar crossing to sell his vehicle. After the suspect externally examined the vehicle, he asked to take it for a spin in the parking lot, began driving, and has not been seen since. In another case that occurred a month later, the suspect was interested in a car for sale advertisement he found on social media. In this case as well, the suspect arranged to meet the young seller in the parking lot near the Meitar crossing, and the two met. At some point, the suspect asked to drive the car, and while driving with the victim, he suddenly began to accelerate to an extremely high speed until they reached the Sawa junction, where he stopped the car and aggressively ordered the victim to get out of the vehicle, leaving him there alone. After a variety of actions and attempts to apprehend the suspect who fled, yesterday, in a joint operation with the Gideonim unit, the suspect was located in Dahariya. He again attempted to evade and escape from the force, but his escape was thwarted with precise fire directed at his legs. After medical treatment in the field and his arrest, he was transferred for further medical treatment at the hospital, after which he will be brought for interrogation at the Hebron police station.
