In recent hours, many citizens have reported to the Police’s 100 and 110 hotlines about receiving recruitment and intimidation messages from numbers they do not recognize, concerning contact with the Islamic Republic of Iran. These are messages that can cause public panic and attempts by Iranian intelligence elements to recruit Israeli citizens in Israel and abroad, for the purpose of advancing intelligence gathering and terror activities in Israel.
