Four illegal residents and an Israeli suspect who was driving a vehicle were arrested during an initiative operation by the Unit for Fighting Crime in the Gilad region, to locate and thwart illegal residency offenses.
Israel Police arrested five suspects, including an Israeli driver and four illegal residents, after a pursuit and discovery in a stolen vehicle.
After a short pursuit, the vehicle driven by an Israeli civilian resident of Kafr Qasim was apprehended. During a search of the vehicle, four illegal residents were found, hiding under the back seat and in the trunk. Checking the vehicle’s details in the police terminal revealed that a short time earlier, a report had been received that this vehicle was stolen this morning. The five suspects, the driver and the illegal residents, were arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Ma’ale Adumim station.
