Following an investigation spanning continents, an international network for trafficking and pimping women has been exposed. Three suspects were arrested by the Coastal District Special Investigations Unit, following a report from the operational coordination department of the Israel Police.

As part of the investigation, surveillance was conducted on women who arrived in the country for the purpose of engaging in prostitution, persuaded and directed by the suspects. Yesterday, three suspects were arrested by officers of the Coastal District Police, detectives from the Granite Unit of the Eilat District, and an operational unit from the Operational Coordination Department – a resident of Be’er Sheva and his partner in their 30s, and a resident of Eilat in his 40s. The suspects were brought before the Magistrate’s Court in Haifa today for an extension of their arrest.
