Extensive operation against drug greenhouses in the South – Border Police fighters destroyed over 10,000 seedlings in dozens of greenhouses located in the Negev. Large forces of the Border Police,

Border Police fighters and volunteers from the Southern District, National Guard fighters, the Air Unit, and inspectors from the Green Patrol of the Nature and Parks Authority participated in the operation. During the activity, the forces located 18 drug greenhouses containing over 10,000 cannabis seedlings and tens of kilograms of material suspected to be marijuana, packaged and ready for distribution, along with equipment and means used for growing the drugs. The forces destroyed all the cultivation greenhouses and seedlings found at the scene. The suspected drug material and cultivation equipment were seized and transferred for further treatment and investigation at the Shagav Shalom station.
