Israel Border Police dismantle 18 drug greenhouses in the Negev, destroying over 10,000 cannabis seedlings and seizing marijuana.
Border Police fighters and volunteers from the Southern District, National Guard fighters, the Air Unit, and inspectors from the Green Patrol of the Nature and Parks Authority participated in the operation. During the activity, the forces located 18 drug greenhouses containing over 10,000 cannabis seedlings and tens of kilograms of material suspected to be marijuana, packaged and ready for distribution, along with equipment and means used for growing the drugs. The forces destroyed all the cultivation greenhouses and seedlings found at the scene. The suspected drug material and cultivation equipment were seized and transferred for further treatment and investigation at the Shagav Shalom station.
