During operations by Rotem District police officers with National Guard fighters and the Southern Baham unit in the Bedouin diaspora, hundreds of grams of cocaine and weapons were seized, hidden on the grounds of private homes.

Israel Police seized hundreds of grams of cocaine, hashish, weapons, and ammunition during operations in Bedouin settlements, arresting two suspects.

Two suspects were arrested. Last weekend, forces from the Shagav Shalom station in the Rotem region, in cooperation with National Guard fighters and the Southern Baham unit, conducted an initiative operation in the Al-Azazma Bedouin settlement. During the searches, improvised weapons, approximately 300 grams of cocaine, about a kilo of hashish, dozens of ammunition rounds, and two electronic scales were located and seized in the area of a private home. Two suspects were arrested, one of them a minor, and all findings were transferred for further treatment and investigation at the Ayarot station. In an operation by Ayarot station officers, in cooperation with National Guard fighters and the Southern Baham unit in the Lakia Bedouin settlement, a Kalashnikov rifle and magazines were seized, as they were hidden in a house yard. The weapons were seized and transferred for further treatment at the Ayarot station.
