Jerusalem, 16 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police arrested a doctor who they described as a “prominent doctor” and who works at a medical facility in the center of the country on suspicion of stealing a large number of narcotic drugs and using them for personal use in the framework of his work at the facility.
Police had opened an investigation into the doctor, a resident of northern Israel in his 40s, following a report received from the medical facility regarding suspicion that he had exploited his position and access to medications in the framework of his work.
