A Rahat resident was arrested on suspicion of incitement to terrorism and identification with the Hamas terrorist organization. Last month, fighters from the Sahar Brigade and undercover Border Police officers from the South arrested Badr bin Yusef Hasnat (a Rahat resident) on suspicion of committing offenses of incitement to terrorism and identification with the Hamas terrorist organization. As part of the investigation conducted by the Negev District Police and the Shin Bet, it emerged that the suspect operated accounts on social networks where he published and shared content identified with the Hamas terrorist organization, alongside publications including messages of incitement, praise, and support for the terrorist organization and acts of terrorism. At the end of the investigation, an indictment was filed against him.
