10 Israelis Rescued After Entering Qalqilya in Search of Stolen Motorcycle

Israeli Border Police rescued 10 citizens who entered Qalqilya illegally to find a stolen motorcycle, which was subsequently recovered.

Jerusalem, 6 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Border Police said that Monday night it rescued 10 Israeli citizens who illegally entered the city of Qalqilya in an apparent attempt to locate a motorcycle that was stolen from them.

The motorcycle was reportedly stolen from them yesterday from the town of Elad, and, according to suspicion transferred to the area of Qalqilya.

After locals identified them as Israeli citizens, dozens of rioters gathered around them. However, Israeli security forces arrived in time to rescue the people.

The area of the city of Qalqilya is defined as Area A, an area under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, and it is illegal for an Israeli citizen to enter it.

The stolen motorcycle was recovered and returned to its owner.
