U.S. Defense Firm Ondas to Acquire Israeli Aran Defense for $33M
U.S. defense firm Ondas Inc. will acquire Israel's Aran Defense for $33 million, expanding its capabilities in autonomous defense systems.
Jerusalem, 19 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — U.S. defense technology company Ondas Inc. has agreed to acquire Aran Defense, the defense division of Israeli engineering and manufacturing company Aran Ltd., for approximately $33 million.
The deal is expected to expand Ondas’ engineering and manufacturing capacity in Israel and strengthen its access to the country’s sovereign defense-industrial base. Aran Defense serves Israeli government customers and international defense companies.
Ondas said the acquisition will support production of autonomous defense systems, including counter-drone, intelligence and surveillance, loitering munition, aerial and ground robotic technologies.
Aran Defense operates about 4,400 square meters of facilities in Israel and generated approximately $17 million in revenue in 2025. Ondas expects the deal to close in the third quarter of 2026.
