Jerusalem, 23 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure is promoting agro-voltaic projects for renewable energy to be established in the Gaza Region, which is also known as Tekuma.

Anlight Renewable Energy Ltd. will prepare plans for national infrastructure for agro-voltaic projects, which will assist in the reconstruction of the Tekuma region.

This measure will contribute to meeting the government target of 30% of electricity production using renewable and emission-free energy by 2030. The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure continues to work to strengthen the electricity sector, while maintaining a balance between the economy’s energy needs and environmental and planning considerations.
