Jerusalem, 17 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv-based sports-tech startup Marquee has secured $1.2 million in pre-seed funding to help professional clubs worldwide reduce costly player transfer mistakes. The AI-powered platform consolidates global and internal club data to generate clear, contextual scouting and recruitment recommendations.

The round was led by AnD Ventures, with participation from Israeli tech figures including Wix co-founders Avishai Abrahami and Omer Shai, and former Maccabi Netanya owner Eyal Segal. Marquee is currently working with 20 clubs in Israel, Europe, and the U.S., aiming to streamline recruitment workflows, shorten analysis cycles, and prevent multi-million-dollar “misses” in the $60 billion global transfer market.
