Jerusalem, 28 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — >>”>Tel Aviv-based crop protection company ADAMA Ltd. announced the launch of Marathon, its first pyrasulfotole-based herbicide, in Australia for the 2026 cereal-growing season. The product targets broadleaf weeds in wheat and barley, and uses the firm’s proprietary high-load formulation technology to improve stability, handling and application efficiency.
Pyrasulfotole is widely used in integrated weed management programs to combat resistant weed populations and expand control options in tank mixes. ADAMA said the Australian rollout marks the first step in a broader global strategy, with additional pyrasulfotole-based products planned for major cereal markets including Canada and the United States.
