Jerusalem, 6 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Northern District police officers conducted what was described as a targeted operation in Zarzir, an Arab town near Nazareth, during which they searched the local cemetery. Inside one of the graves, three pieces of ammunition containing standard explosives were found and seized.

A suspect, a resident of Zarzir, was detained for questioning.

Since the beginning of the year, over 700 lethal weapons have been seized, as part of Israel’s continuing fight against violent crime in Arab communities.
