Jerusalem, 13 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — During the signing ceremony at the ‘Peace Summit’ in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the return of hostage remains. He said, ‘The matter is being handled,’ adding: ‘They are working to find out where they are.’ Regarding the Gaza ceasefire agreement, he said: ‘It will detail rules and regulations; it’s a very comprehensive agreement.’

According to an IDF spokesperson, the Red Cross has received two more coffins containing the remains of hostages who were killed while in captivity. The coffins are en route to an IDF and Shin Bet force in Gaza.
