Jerusalem, 11 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A survey that examined the level of preparedness of industrial companies in Israel for cyber threats by the Israeli High-Tech Association, the Manufacturers’ Association and the National Cyber Directorate found a 67% increase in cyber incidents in industrial companies.

The survey was conducted on the occasion of the Cyber Week events at Tel Aviv University that were held this week. The data reveals a worrying picture of a sharp increase in risk and cyber incidents, alongside only partial preparation and insufficient investment in defense.

In addition, according to the data, 30% of companies in the industry sector reported in 2025 a suspicion of a cyber attack that they identified during the past year. This is compared to only 18% in the survey conducted in 2022 – an increase of approximately two-thirds in the number of reports. The data comes against the backdrop of the intensification of the threat in cyberspace during the war, during which Iran and other attack groups increased attempts to damage infrastructure and processes.
