Breaking News

Jerusalem, 11 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Environmental Protection and Health ministries issued a warning Sunday of very high air pollution in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley, citing elevated concentrations of respiratory particles. The pollution stems from increased cloudiness and partial winds carrying dust from eastern regions.

The Health Ministry urged sensitive groups — including people with heart or lung conditions, the elderly, pregnant women and children — to avoid strenuous outdoor activity. The general public is advised to limit intense outdoor exercise.
