Jerusalem, 2 december, 2025 (TPS-IL) — As part of Israel’s ongoing fight against criminal organizations and extortion of protection money, a raid carried out by Northern District police officers resulted in the arrest of an armed gang suspected of an attempted criminal assassination, minutes after they shot at a person who was seriously injured.

The police did not provide any details as to who the person was or why the people tried to kill him.

However, Israel has been rocked by criminal gangs shooting at rivals in recent years, which is one of the reasons for the crackdown on crime gangs.
